In the book Sin and Repentance I learned When we obey the devil we are sinning and we are displeasing God.You can sin in many different ways and some people sin because of curiosity and doubts.If we have bad eyes it connects to others sins and our body will be filled with darkness .I also learnt that repentance is when you regret something you done wrong and never do it again but some people are remorseful which means that they continue doing the sin and to really repent you have to know what you have done wrong an then you have to confess it and after you have to hate the sin and i you don't hate the sin , the sin can come to you again. To fear God you sacrifice , respect , keep God's will and we must have the behavior of God. The thing that makes our conscience unclean is sin and when we have an unclean conscience it is useless to pray or make promises because the sin just goes into our mind and to have a clean conscience you should confess your sin but confess it to God alone is not enough and it is good if you tell someone that may have been in the same situation as you , your sin but God can still forgive you.If we want to keep our conscience clean we must be at peace with God and others. Perseverance is to be steadfast , unmoved and determined and when we persevere in faith we save our souls and anything we desire
